Abstract:
A camera system for performing exposure control of the video signal from a CCD
(102) in combination with tone conversion. A control section (113) so performs
control that pre-imaging prior to imaging are performed with different exposures.
A conversion characteristic calculating section (106) calculates the conversion
characteristic used for tone conversion of a signal concerning the video signals
captured by the pre-imagings. An exposure control section (107) determines
the exposure of the imaging according to the signal concerning the video signals
captured by the pre-imagings, the exposures used for the pre-imagings, and the
conversion characteristic. A control section (113) so performs control that
the imaging is performed with the exposure. A tone converting section (110) performs
tone conversion of the signal concerning the video signal captured by the imaging.
