Description:
Can Having a Hook

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a can which is

easy to carry with, and particularly to a can in which

a hook is attached on the- outside of the can, so that

the hook of the can may be hooked to a belt and the

like, thereby making it easy to carry it with.

Background Art

Generally, when people go a picnic, fishing or

mountain climbing, they carry with cans such as beverage

cans, beer cans and the like. However, the conventional

cans are not provided with means for carrying with them,

and therefore, the cans are carried put into sacks, or

carried directly held with hands. However, in the case

where the cans are put into sacks, the taking-out of the

cans in the midway is very troublesome. On the other

hand, in the case of directly carrying them with hands,

the troublesomeness is more severe.

Disclosure of Invention

The present invention is intended to overcome

the above described disadvantages of the conventional

techniques.

Therefore it is the object of the present

invention to provide a can having a hook, which is

convenient to carry with.

In achieving the above object, the can of the

present invention includes a hook which is composed of an

attaching portion to be attached on the outside of the

can; and an extending portion downwardly extending keeping

a certain gap from the outside of the can.

Brief Description of the Drawings

The above object and other advantages of the

present invention will become more apparent by describing

in detail the preferred embodiment of the present

invention with reference to the attached drawings in

which:

Figure 1 is a perspective view of the can

having a hook according to the preferred embodiment of

the present invention: and

Figure 2 is a sectional view of the critical

portion taken along the line A-A of Figure 1.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

Figure 1 is a perspective view of the can

having a hook acording to the present invention, and as

shown in this drawing, a hook 2 is attached on an

ordinary can 1. As shown in the drawing, the hook 2

includes: an attaching portion 2a attached at a proper

position, desirably at a position corresponding to

one-third from the top of the can 1: and an extending

portion 2b extending downwardly from the attaching portion

2a by a certain length.

Referring to Figure 2 which is a sectional view

taken along the line A-A of Figure 1, the extending

portion 2b of the hook 2 is separated by a certain

distance from the outside of the can 1, and, for this

separation, the extending portion 2b is bent outwardly

from the attaching portion 2a. It is desirable that the

extending portion 2b of the hook 2 has an elasticity

toward the can 1. The attachment of the attaching

portion 2a of the hook 2 can be made by ordinary means

such as rivetting or an adhesive agent, thereby firmly

attaching it to the can 1.

The can having a hook according to the present

invention as described above can be conveniently carried

by hooking the hook of the can onto a waist band, a

mountain climbing band and the like. When the content of

the can is to be drunken, the can can be conveniently

separated from the band, and, after the drinking, the

empty can can also be carried conveniently to the place

where the can may be discarded.

As described above, the can having a hook

according to the present invention is simple in its

structure, but gives a great convenience.
