Abstract:
Provided in the present disclosure are a candidate cell configuration method and apparatus. The method comprises: a central unit (CU) sending a request message to a first distribute unit (DU), the request message being used for requesting candidate cell configuration-related information for a terminal, wherein the first DU is a DU where candidate cells are located; the CU receiving the candidate cell configuration-related information, which is sent by the first DU; and the CU configuring a candidate cell for the terminal.
