Abstract:
A candidate input determination method comprises: computing, according to an input character, a preceding character, and/or a following character of a current sentence, possible succeeding characters of the input character of the current sentence; when meeting an ending criterion of a candidate-selection sentence update, joining, to a corresponding candidate-selection sentence, respective possible succeeding characters having an end identification, so as to obtain each of candidate-selection sentences having the end identification; computing an occurrence probability of the candidate-selection sentences having the end identification; and providing, as candidate inputs, a predefined number of candidate-selection sentences having the end identification and having top ranked probabilities.
