Abstract:
A cap for liquid container, comprising a casing fitted to the jaw part of a liquid container, a nozzle disposed in the casing, and an operating handle having pivotally supported part installed in connection with the nozzle which is pivotally supported on the casing and rotated to move the nozzle vertically, wherein a seal plate (10) is formed at the middle part of the nozzle (5), and an annular seal seat surface (8) against which the seal plate is pressed at the lower limit position of the nozzle and an annular seal lip part (9) in elastic contact with the entire outer peripheral surface of the nozzle over the entire stroke of the nozzle are formed in the casing (2), whereby, at the time of removal of the cap, an upper opening part (5a) of the nozzle is closed with a cover body (7), and a dual seal structure consisting of a seal structure in which the seal plate is pressed against the seal seat surface and a seal structure in which the seal lip part is in elastic contact with the outer peripheral surface of the nozzle can be obtained.
