Abstract:
Provided is a cap for a rotating steering wheel that can easily be mounted, on a rotating steering wheel for controlling the opening and closing of a valve, without the need for a wide space for mounting the cap on the rotating steering wheel; after being mounted, the cap can be switched between being able to rotate together with the rotating steering wheel and being able to rotate independent of the rotating steering wheel by a simple operation. A cap for a rotating steering wheel, the cap being mounted on a rotating steering wheel which is mounted on a rotating shaft and which rotates the rotating shaft, wherein the cap for a rotating steering wheel is characterized in being provided with an interior housing mounted so as to be secured to the rotating steering wheel, an exterior housing that internally houses the interior housing, a clutch part for enabling and disabling rotation of the exterior housing relative to the interior housing about a rotational axis of the exterior housing, and a holding part for holding the rotation-enabled state of the exterior housing which is enabled to rotate relative to the interior housing by the clutch part.
