Abstract:

In this capacitor having a polarizable electrode, capacity deterioration caused by repetition of charging/discharging cycles is suppressed. This electrode foil comprises a collector 7 and electrode active material layers 3. The electrode active material layers 3 are formed on the surfaces of the collector 7. The electrode active material layers 3 are each divided into a plurality of small regions 31 by division parts 32. The electrode foil can be used for a positive electrode foil or for positive electrode foil and negative electrode foil, and is able to suppress capacity deterioration of an electric double-layered capacitor or a hybrid capacitor.
