Abstract:
Provided is a capsule endoscope (100), comprising: an image capture unit (110) which captures captured images in time series; a processing unit (120) which, on the basis of the captured images, carries out a determination of a first movement of the image capture unit (110), and derives a result of the first movement determination; and a communication unit (130) which transmits the captured images to an external device (200) of the capsule endoscope (100), and receives a result of a second movement determination which is a result of a determination of a second movement of the image capture unit (110) which is carried out by the external device (200) on the basis of the captured images. The processing unit (120) controls the frame rate of the image capture unit (110) on the basis of the result of the first movement determination and the result of the second movement determination.
