Abstract:
[Problem] In one embodiment, to protect an active ingredient, etc. contained in a capsule formulation, said active ingredient, etc. being possibly degraded upon contact with an acid, from degradation by gastric acid penetrating into a capsule coating.
[Solution] A capsule formulation containing an active ingredient and an oil, characterized in that: a capsule of the formulation is an enteric capsule comprising a water soluble film-forming polymer and gellan gum; the oil is a pharmaceutically or edibly acceptable oil; and the active ingredient is enclosed in the capsule together with the oil. A method for manufacturing the capsule formulation.
