Abstract:

The burden on a patient is reduced, and acquired measurement information is easily and reliably retrieved. Provided is a capsule medical device (10) comprising a capsule housing (12) to be inserted into the body cavity of a patient, an image information acquisition section (20) which is disposed inside the housing (12) so as to acquire the image information associated with a site to be examined inside the body cavity, an IC chip (32) for storing the image information acquired by the image information acquisition section (20), a capsule antenna (34) for receiving the image information read signal from outside the body cavity, and transmitting the image information stored in the IC chip (32) to outside the body cavity, a pH sensor unit (40) for acquiring the positional information inside the body cavity to identify a passed position, and a buzzer (50) which issues alarm sound to outside the body cavity when the passed position identified by the pH sensor unit (40) satisfies a predetermined positional condition.
