Title:
CARBON DIOXIDE REFORMING PROCESS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/001690
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A synthetic gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide can be efficiently obtained by reacting a hydrocarbon raw material gas with carbon dioxide under pressure, while suppressing deposition of carbon. Carbon dioxide reforming of a hydrocarbon raw material gas is performed under a pressure not less than 3 atmospheres (0.304 MPa) using a carbon dioxide reforming catalyst which contains a carbonate of at least one alkaline earth metal selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr and Ba, a catalyst metal for accelerating the decomposition reaction of the hydrocarbon raw material gas, at least one alkaline earth metal selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr and Ba, and a complex oxide containing at least one component selected from the group consisting of Ti, Al, Zr, Fe, W and Mo. The complex oxide is composed of ATiO3, AAl2O4, AZrO3, AFe2O4, A3W2O9, A2WO5 or AMoO4 (wherein A represents at least one alkaline earth metal selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr and Ba).
