Abstract:
The present invention relates to a carbon dot-hemoglobin composite for cholesterol detection. Specifically, according to the present invention, disclosed is a carbon dot-hemoglobin composite for cholesterol detection, the composite comprising: carbon dots; and hemoglobin chelate-bound to surfaces of the carbon dots, wherein the fluorescence of the carbon dots is quenched through the conjugation with the hemoglobin, and the fluorescence of the carbon dots is enhanced by the reaction with cholesterol, thereby detecting cholesterol.
