Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a carbon nanotube fiber which has excellent properties such as excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and mechanical characteristics. This carbon nanotube fiber is composed of an assembly of a plurality of carbon nanotubes, and the plurality of carbon nanotubes include carbon nanotubes having structures that are at least partially collapsed. A method for producing a carbon nanotube fiber according to the present invention comprises a step wherein a carbon nanotube dispersion liquid, which contains a plurality of carbon nanotubes including carbon nanotubes having structures that are at least partially collapsed, a dispersant and a solvent, is spun by being extruded into a congelation liquid.
