Abstract:
A case for assembled batteries, used as a case for at least one individual lead storage battery constituting an assembled battery, when providing an assembled battery comprising a plurality of lead storage batteries. The case comprises a non-contact recessed section that houses a plurality of electrode plates in a laminated state and wherein facing outer walls facing in the lamination direction of the electrode plates form a cavity between same and the outer walls of a case for another adjacent storage battery. The non-contact recessed section has a recessed shape recessed more toward the inside than the outer peripheral end section of the facing outer walls.
