Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is mainly to reduce the weight of a steering member, to reduce the cost thereof, etc. Side brackets (5) that can be fixed to a vehicle body are attached to both ends of a member body (3) extending in a vehicle width direction (2). The present invention relates to a steering member (1) in which these side brackets (5) have front-rear direction fixing parts (7) that can be fixed to the vehicle body in a vehicle front-rear direction (6). The front-rear direction fixing parts (7) constitute hollow bodies having vertically extending space sections (41).
