Abstract:
[Problem] To achieve a tablet case that can hold a terminal upright while the terminal is apart from an installation surface. [Solution] A tablet case 1 has a shell 2 that receives a terminal T and a cover 3 which is connected to the shell 2 and which comprises a plate-like member including a portion that protects a display D of the terminal T, the cover 3 comprising: a first plate part 51 partially fixed to a back side of the shell 2; a second plate part 52 connected to the first plate part 51 via a first fold 41; a third plate part 53 extending from the second plate part 52 to a front side of the terminal T via a second fold 42; and a fourth plate part 54 connected to the third plate part 53 via a third fold 43, wherein: the first plate part 51 is not fixed to the shell 2 in a range to a position 32 indicated by a broken line apart by a certain distance L from one end on the side opposite to the second plate part 52 thereby forming a receiving part 33 between the first plate part 51 and the shell 2 and is fixed to the shell 2 in another range indicated by diagonal lines in Fig. 1; and the cover 3 forms a triangular shape in a side view as illustrated in Fig. 2 thereby supporting the shell 2 as a result of insertion of another end 34 of the fourth plate part 54 into the receiving part 33 and engagement of the other end 34 with the receiving part 33 so that the tablet case 1 functions as a stand that keeps the terminal T upright with the terminal T apart from the surface of installation by an amount approximately equal to a difference obtained by subtracting the certain distance L from the width 54a of the fourth plate 54.
