Title:
AERIAL STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/148992
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is solar planes each of which is provided with a thin-film solar cell and comprises a photon emission unit or a particle acceleration unit and a particle acceleration tube using an electric field or a magnetic field, the solar planes are connected in the air to form an aerial structure which is an orbital ring, and photons are emitted from the aerial structure to accelerate and rotate the orbital ring to obtain a centripetal force. Also, particles are accelerated inside the acceleration tubes of the orbital ring by means of electric field or the magnetic field to obtain the centripetal force. [Problem] To propose a method of launching an orbital ring continuously from the ground through the air to the altitude of the outer space. [Solution] Solar planes which comprise thin-film solar cells and which are also parts of an orbital ring are used to connect the same in the air to form an aerial structure of a connected body (connected belt). The solar plane is provided with a photon emission unit or a particle acceleration unit using an electric field or a magnetic field and a particle acceleration tube. Photons are emitted from the aerial structure or particles are accelerated inside the accelerator tubes to obtain a centripetal force.
