Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a case which reduces the occurrence of blowholes and increases the yield. [Solution] A case which has a drive force transmission device integrated therein, said case having a wall section provided with a through-hole through which a shaft for transmitting drive force passes, and being configured in a manner such that: when viewed from the axial direction of the shaft, the wall section is provided with a ring-shaped section which surrounds the through-hole, a plurality of first ribs which extend so as to radiate from the ring-shaped section to the outside in the radial direction, and a second rib which transects a vertical line which passes through the axial center of the shaft from one side toward the other side; when viewed from the axial direction, the wall section is provided with a recess which opens to the bottom end surface of said wall section; the recess recesses in a direction along said vertical line; when viewed from the axial direction, the floor surface of the recess is shaped so as to be separated from the vertical line but located on the bottom end surface side; and the region of the wall section where the recess is provided is connected to one end section of the second rib.
