Abstract:
This cash receiving system makes it possible for a user to withdraw cash from an account of a financial institution and receive the cash at a store. In order to provide benefits to the store as well, the cash receiving system is constituted by: cash processing devices installed respectively at a plurality of stores; store servers that manage cash stored in the cash processing devices; a portable terminal for inputting information about the cash to be withdrawn from the account by the user; a management server that receives information input to the portable terminal and transmits, to the portable terminal, information about a store at which the user can receive the cash; and a financial institution server that receives information about the cash received by the user from a cash processing device of the store, and executes account processing for moving the amount of the cash from the account of the user to the account of the store. The store server determines whether or not there is cash to be deposited to the account of the store on the basis of a cash balance of the cash processing device. If the store server determines that there is cash to be deposited to the account of the store, the management server reports information based on the determination results to the user.
