Abstract:
Disclosed is a cat toilet with an upper cover which effectively prevents granular material for excreta treatment from being spilt down and scattered on a room floor. The cat toilet with the upper cover is provided with: a lower tray (1) wherein the granular material (D) for excreta treatment is spread; and the upper cover (2) with which the lower tray (1) is covered. By providing a cat doorway (4) in the top plate section (3) of the upper cover (2), the granular material for excreta treatment is effectively prevented from being spilt down onto the room floor. By disposing the doorway (4) at the height (H) which enables a cat to adopt a posture of raising the paws, the granular material for excreta treatment on the backs of the paws are collected within the lower tray, which effectively prevents the granular material for excreta treatment from being scattered on the room floor.
