Title:
CATALYST FOR EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/190300
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a catalyst for exhaust gas purification wherein an alkaline earth metal is supported on a porous carrier in a highly dispersed state. A catalyst layer of the catalyst for exhaust purification provided by the present invention has an alkaline earth metal support region provided with a porous carrier, a catalyst metal belonging to the platinum group, and a sulfate of at least one type of alkali earth metal supported on the porous carrier. For the cross-section of this region, a Pearson correlation coefficient RAe/M is 0.5 or greater calculated using α and β in each pixel obtained by carrying out a surface analysis using FE-EPMA with the conditions of a pixel size of 0.34 × 0.34 µm and a measured pixel number of 256 × 256 and measuring the intensity (α: cps) of characteristic x-rays for the alkaline earth metal element (Ae) and the intensity (β: cps) of characteristic x-rays for the main constituent element (M) of an inorganic compound constituting the porous carrier for each pixel.
