Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catalyst for manufacturing carbon nanotubes, a manufacturing method for the catalyst, and a method for manufacturing carbon nanotubes by using the catalyst, wherein in the catalyst, an active layer contains CoO and Co3O4 and shows one peak in the range of 2θ = 35° to 38° and one peak in the range of 2θ = 41° to 44° by XRD pattern measurement, and the ratio of CaO to CoO and Co3O4 is 55 at% or more. The catalyst of the present invention enables efficient synthesis of small-diameter carbon nanotubes.
