Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing, by using a chemical vapor deposition process, a catalyst for the production of carbon nanotubes, the method being capable of forming a coating layer to be uniform and thin even on the surface of a 3D-structured support having a high specific surface area. When a catalyst prepared through this method is used, high-quality and small- diameter carbon nanotubes can be produced.
