Abstract:
This catheter assembly (10A) is provided with an inner needle (12), a needle hub (20), a catheter (40), and a catheter hub (50). The catheter assembly (10A) is provided with: a catheter operation unit (70) which enables the catheter (40) and the catheter hub (50) to be moved relative to the inner needle (12); a support member (27) for supporting the catheter (40) while the catheter (40) is moved; and a connector (60) which is connected to the catheter hub (50) and is connectable to another medical device. The catheter assembly (10A) further comprises a regulation unit (100A) for regulating free displacement of the connector (60) relative to the catheter hub (50).
