Abstract:
A catheter extension (1) for a peritoneal dialysis comprises: a catheter extension tube (2) configured to fluidly connect a peritoneal dialysis bag system to a peritoneal catheter; and an assistance means (3) configured to facilitate a dialysis process to be executed by means of the catheter extension tube (2); wherein the assistance means (3) is configured to be fitted at the catheter extension tube (2). The catheter extension (1) not only can achieve a basic function of establishing a fluid connection between the peritoneal dialysis bag system and the peritoneal catheter, but also achieve an additional function of facilitating the dialysis process.
