A Ce-containing magnesium alloy sacrificial anode and a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The magnesium alloy sacrificial anode comprises a magnesium rod body made of a rare earth magnesium alloy material, and the rare earth magnesium alloy material contains Mg and further comprises 0.0009-3.5% of rare earth elements in percentage by mass; and the rare earth elements are Ce-containing cerium-group rare earth elements.
