Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a ceiling-embedded air conditioner 1, the maintenance of which can be performed from a space for an air suction opening 5 in a ceiling surface. The ceiling-embedded air conditioner 1 is provided with: a fan plate 17 having formed therein a fan plate opening 18 for connecting a blower section 19 and a heat exchanger section 20; and a cover 16 having a fan opening 21 through which air delivered from a fan 8a is caused to flow and covering the fan plate opening 18 in the fan plate 17. The air suction opening 5 is formed in the bottom surface or a side surface of the blower section 19. An air discharge opening 53 is formed in a side surface of the heat exchange section 20. The cover 16 is removably mounted to the fan plate 17 from the air suction opening 5 side.
