Abstract:

A cellular communication system comprises: UE which carries out, on the basis of WLAN control information, a WLAN linking process for switching an access network which contains own traffic from E-UTRAN to WLAN; and an eNB which manages a cell wherein the UE is present. On the basis of at least one parameter whereby the UE is linked, the UE transmits a WLAN interworking indication to the eNB which denotes whether to execute the WLAN linking process. The eNB which receives a WLAN interworking indication determines, on the basis of the received WLAN interworking indication, whether to provide the WLAN control information to the UE.
