Abstract:
Provided is a cellulose-based resin in which hydrogen atoms in hydroxyl groups of cellulose are substituted with a long-chain component, which is a linear saturated aliphatic acyl group having 14 or more carbon atoms, and a short-chain component, which is a C3 acyl group (propionyl group), wherein the degree (DSLo) of substitution by the long-chain component and the degree (DSSh) of substitution by the short-chain component satisfy conditional expressions (1) and (2) below, the Izod impact strength is at least 5.0 kJ/m2, and the MFR (melt flow rate at 200°C and a load of 5 kg) is at least 10 g per 10 minutes. (1) DSLo+DSSh≥2.1, (2) 4≤DSSh/DSLo≤12.
