Abstract:
Provided is a center bearing capable of sufficiently absorbing vibration with a rubber-like elastic material even when a propeller shaft vibrates to a relatively great degree. A center bearing (15) comprises: a rubber-like elastic material (20) having a shaft hole (23); and a bracket (21). The rubber-like elastic material (20) is formed in a rectangular shape with recessed grooves (24A, 24B) formed in the center of the upper and lower sides, and the bracket (21) is formed in a rectangular shape so as to cover the rectangular rubber-like elastic material. The rubber-like elastic material (20) between the shaft hole (23) and the recessed grooves (24A, 24B) has first slits (31A, 31B) formed on the radially inner side and second slits (32A, 32B) formed on the radially outer side.
