Description:
Centipede energy turbine

Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to the clean, permanent and controllable generation of electrical energy.

In particular, the present invention relates to an energy turbine that enables the generation of electrical energy from mechanical energy as an alternative to renewable energy sources and at the same time, provides controlled electrical energy production.

State of the Art

Global climate change, which is seen as the biggest problem threatening the world, is increasing its effectiveness each day. Among the biggest measures taken against this is the switch to energy generation methods that aim not to pollute the world.

Renewable energy generation methods in the state of the art are generally solar power plants, wind turbines, hydroelectric power plants, wave energy and biomass energies. Although different methods are used for renewable energy in the state of the art, none of the aforementioned renewable energy generation methods can be utilized at full capacity and regularly. Since natural factors such as wind, sun, waves and rain are used for energy generation with the abovementioned methods. Therefore, it is possible that these methods depend on climatic features and geographical formations. Since it is not possible to control natural factors, it is not possible to be effective on renewable energy generation and the desired amount of energy cannot be generated at the desired location. In addition to this, current energy generation methods are not widely preferred due to their high cost, difficult and costly maintenance and not being able to be used in every environment. At the same time, it is not possible to plan exactly and accurately how much energy will be generated throughout the year with current energy production methods and since natural factors cannot be intervened, the desired level of control cannot be achieved. While this interrupts clean energy production, it also interrupts its development. The document numbered TR2018/00571 can be shown as an example of the state of the art in the research carried out in the literature. Said document relates to a structure that converts wave energy into electrical energy. The movement of the pistons connected to the system by a buoy positioned according to the sea wave and exposed to the forces occurring in all directions and generation of electrical energy as a result of the rotation of the hydraulic motor by means of the high pressure hydraulic fluid collected in the hydraulic accumulator is disclosed in said invention. Since the operating principle of said structure is based on the generation of electrical energy by means of sea waves, it can only be used in rough seas.

As a result, in order to solve the abovementioned problems and the insufficiency of the current solutions makes it necessary to make a development in the relevant technical field.

Aim of the Invention

The present invention relates to a centipede energy turbine which eliminates the abovementioned disadvantages and brings new advantages to the relevant technical field.

The main aim of the present invention is to reveal an energy turbine that enables the generation of electrical energy from mechanical energy as an alternative to renewable energy sources and at the same time, that provides controlled electrical energy production.

The aim of the invention is to generate as much clean energy as desired, at the desired time and in the desired location, without being dependent on any factors.

Another aim of the invention is to ensure that the energy generation process can be maintained completely independently from the climate process, natural events and geographical formations.

Another aim of the invention is to reveal an energy turbine, which can be installed and assembled in a short time with little effort, and which can be detected and eliminated in a short time in case of any failure, saving labor and time. Another aim of the invention is to generate electrical energy without harming nature of humans, animal and plant.

In order to fulfill all the aims that may arise from the above-mentioned and detailed description, the present invention is an energy turbine that enables the generation of electrical energy from mechanical energy and at the same time, provides controlled electrical energy production, it comprises the following; hydraulic cylinder that opens and closes with linear movement by positioning opposite each other, hydraulic pump that drives hydraulic cylinders for linear motion by means of fluid flow, rack gear, which is connected to the end of the hydraulic cylinders in a way that remains between the hydraulic cylinders and moves back and forth between the hydraulic cylinders depending on the linear movement of the hydraulic cylinders,

- at least one gear on the rack gear, which rotates on the rack gear with the back and forth movement of the rack gear,

- at least one shaft that is connected to the gear and rotates with the gear,

- at least one gearbox that is located on the shaft and transmits the mechanical energy taken from the rotational movement of the shaft by increasing it,

- at least one engine that is associated with the gearbox and converts the mechanical energy transmitted from the gearbox into electrical energy by means of the generator.

The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following drawings and the detailed description made with reference to these drawings. Therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

Detailed Description of the Invention

In this detailed description, the preferred alternatives of the inventive centipede energy turbine are described only for clarifying the subject matter such that no limiting effect is created.

In Figure 1 , a representative view of the inventive energy turbine is given. Accordingly, the energy turbine basically comprises of the following; hydraulic cylinder (10) that opens and closes with linear movement by positioning opposite each other, hydraulic pump (20) that drives hydraulic cylinders (10) for linear motion, rack gear (30) that moves back and forth between the hydraulic cylinders (10) depending on the linear movement of the hydraulic cylinders (10), at least one gear (40) that rotates on the rack gear (30) with the back and forth movement of the rack gear (30), shaft (50) that rotates with the gear (40), gearbox (60) that transmits the mechanical energy taken from the rotational movement of the shaft (50) by increasing it, engine (70) that converts the mechanical energy transmitted from the gearbox (60) into electrical energy by means of the generator.

The hydraulic cylinders (10), which form the main structure of the inventive energy turbine, are positioned opposite each other and are opened and closed with linear motion. The hydraulic cylinders (10) are driven by fluid flow from a software-controlled hydraulic pump (20).

A rack gear (30) is placed at the end of the hydraulic cylinders (10) in such a way that it remains between the hydraulic cylinders (10). Said rack gear (30) moves back and forth depending on the linear movement of the hydraulic cylinders (10). At least one gear (40) is placed on the rack gear (30). Said gear (40) rotates on the rack gear (30) by means of the back and forth movement of the rack gear (30). The gear (40) is connected to a shaft (50) from its rear side. Said shaft (50) rotates together with the gear (40). There is a gearbox (60) on the shaft (50) which is associated with an engine (70). Said gearbox (60) increases the mechanical energy received from the rotational movement of the shaft (50) and transmits it to the engine (70) which it is associated with. Said motor (70) converts the mechanical energy transmitted from the gearbox (60) into electrical energy by means of the generator.

The operating principle of the inventive energy turbine is as follows:

The hydraulic cylinders (10) move linearly by opening and closing mutually with the fluid flow provided from the hydraulic pump (20). The rack gear (30) moves back and forth depending on the linear movement of the hydraulic cylinders (10) with the linear movement of the hydraulic cylinders (10). Meanwhile, the gears (40) on the rack gear (30) and the shaft (50) connected to the gears (40) rotate. The gearbox (60) increases the mechanical energy received from the rotational movement of the shaft (50) and transmits the same to the engine (70) with the rotational movement of the shaft (50). The engine (70) converts the mechanical energy transmitted from the gearbox (60) into electrical energy by means of the generator and clean energy generation is provided.
