Abstract:
This centrifugal compressor comprises: a shaft member (52) that extends in an axial direction and that is capable of rotating; and an impeller (12) having a hub (121) provided to an end part of the shaft member (52) and a plurality of vanes (122, 123) provided to the outer peripheral surface of the hub (121). The impeller (12) has a shape that tapers toward the axially outer side. A cover member (125), which is joined to the radially outer peripheries of the plurality of vanes (122, 123) and which covers at least part of each of the plurality of vanes (122, 123) from the radially outer side, is provided to at least an axially outer-side end part (12a) of the impeller (12). A bearing (15) that rotatably supports the impeller (12) is provided to the radially outer side of the cover member (125).
