Abstract:
In the present invention, a swirling flow generation unit (24) of a centrifugal separation device (20A) includes: a cylindrical section (25) interconnecting with a liquid inlet (22a) that allows a liquid (washing water) to flow into a rotating cylinder (22); a liquid inflow section (28) through which the liquid flows into the cylindrical section (25) from a water channel (19a); and a swirling flow path (36). The swirling flow path (36) includes a protruding section (37) and one or more enlarged sections (38) and swirls the liquid entering from the liquid inflow section (28). The protruding section (37) and the enlarged section (38) are provided so that the centers thereof coincide with a central axis (25a) of the cylindrical section (25). The enlarged section (38) is provided on a bottom surface (24c) of the swirling flow generation unit (24) and is formed to have a larger diameter than the protruding section (37). The protruding section (37) is formed in a cylindrical shape from the enlarged section (38) toward the liquid inlet (22a).
