Abstract:
A centrifugal separator (20A) comprises a case (21) communicated and connected with water conduits (19a and 19b), and a hollow rotary cylinder (22) that is provided so as to be able to rotate inside the case (21). The centrifugal separator (20A) also comprises a liquid inlet (22a) that allows washing water (liquid) to flow into the rotary cylinder (22) from the water conduit (19a), and a liquid outlet (22b) that allows washing water to flow out from the rotary cylinder (22) to the water conduit (19b). The centrifugal separator (20A) also comprises a pump unit (29) for inducing passage of water into the centrifugal separator (20A), a barrel motor (23) that rotationally drives the rotary cylinder (22) and the pump unit (29), and a rotational flow generating unit (24). The centrifugal separator (20A) also comprises rib vanes (42) (return flow suppressing parts) for reducing return flow (U) that flows through a gap (41) between the case (21) and the rotary cylinder (22).
