Title:
CERAMIC SHEET FOR HEAT-TREATING METAL COMPOSITE SUPERCONDUCTIVE WIRES AND METHOD USING THE SAME FOR HEAT TREATING METAL COMPOSITE SUPERCONDUCTIVE WIRES, AND SUPERCONDUCTIVE MAGNET AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2001/052274
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A method of heat treating metal composite superconductive wires, and a method using a heat treatment ceramic sheet for producing superconductive magnets. A metal composite superconductive wire (1) composed of a single-core wire or multi-core wire of bismuth type oxide superconductive material coated with silver or a silver alloy and a heat treatment-purpose ceramic sheet (2) composed of alumina fiber and zirconia powder in a volume ratio of 9:1 to 1:9, the balance being a binder which will disappear when heat treated are put one on top of the other and wound to form a pancake-like coil, which is then heat treated.
