Abstract:
It is possible to set a width of a line and interval between lines contained in a character or graphic to desired state before and after adjustment. A character graphic display device scales a character or graphic containing a plurality of reference points so as to generate a scaled reference point. A distance between particular reference points among quantized distances between respective reference points which have been scaled is adjusted so that the total of the distances obtained by quantizing the distances between the respective reference points which have been subjected the scaling approaches a target value. According to the adjusted reference points, a scaled character or graphic is displayed.
