Abstract:
A charger capable of dynamic charging. The charger (400, 500, 700) comprises: a processor (702) and a memory (703) coupled to each other. The processor (702) is used for executing the following steps: according to an identifier of a terminal, determining a charging protocol supported by the terminal (S102); determining the type of the terminal according to the identifier of the terminal (S103); determining a charging policy according to the type of the terminal, the remaining power and the supported charging protocol (S104); and charging the terminal according to the charging policy (S105). A charging policy can be determined according to the type of the terminal, the remaining power and the supported charging protocol, and the terminal is charged according to the policy, wherein the policy includes a fast charge period and a slow charge period, thereby ensuring successful charging and prolonging the lifetime of a battery.
