Abstract:
An EV-PCS has: a charge/discharge cable (11); a charge/discharge connector (12) having a plurality of terminals including two or more signal terminals and capable of connecting the charge/discharge cable (11) to an electric vehicle; a power converter (43) for charging, via the plurality of terminals of the charge/discharge connector (12) and the charge/discharge cable (11), a storage battery mounted on the electric vehicle; and an insulation diagnosis unit for diagnosing whether or not it is insulated between the signal terminals of the charge/discharge connector (12). The power converter (43) is equipped with a control unit (66) which, when the insulation diagnosis unit has diagnosed that it is not insulated between the signal terminals, stops the energization of each of the terminals of the charge/discharge connector (12).
