Title:
CHARGING AND DISCHARGING CONTROL CIRCUIT AND BATTERY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/080693
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a charging and discharging control circuit and a battery device that require no complicated test device and are equipped with a self-test function. The battery device is constituted by a charging and discharging control circuit characterized as follows. Pull-up/pull-down circuits are provided at the terminals to which a secondary battery is connected. When the charging and discharging control circuit receives a self-test start signal and is brought into a self-test state, a self-test control circuit controls the pull-up/pull-down circuits to perform testing of a voltage detection circuit provided at the terminals to which the secondary battery is connected. When the self-test is completed, the self-test start signal is output to the charging and discharging control circuit at the next stage, thereby sequentially performing testing of the voltage detection circuits of the charging and discharging control circuits connected in cascade.
