Abstract:
The invention relates to a rail vehicle comprising a chassis with at least two longitudinal girders (1, 1'), each having a respective lower flange (2a, 2a') and an upper flange (2b, 2b') and at least one strut (3, 3') that connects the lower flange (2a, 2a') and the upper flange (2b, 2b'), said strut running essentially the entire length of the longitudinal girders (1, 1'). The latter (1, 1') are interconnected by means of at least one transversal element (4) to form a supporting structure and at least some sections of the strut (3, 3') have undulations. The generatrices of the undulations of the strut (3, 3') run essentially parallel to the height of the latter (3, 3') and the undulating section of the strut (3, 3') comprises at least one slit that is traversed by a gusset plate (6, 6').
