Abstract:
Provided is a check valve which does not require a power source such as a pump or a piezoelectric element for pressurizing/depressurizing a valve chamber directly from above, which can achieve size reduction with a simple structure, and which allows smooth flow of liquid to be tested or a reagent and reliably allows prevention of backflow. The check valve (1) is formed to penetrate through a thin sheet (20) and a thick sheet (40), which are valve-chamber forming members. In inner spaces of a flow-in valve chamber (22) and a flow-out valve chamber (42) connected to flow paths (21) and (41) through which a fluid flows, respectively, a diaphragm sheet (30) sandwiched and attached between the thin sheet (20) and the thick sheet (40) has a flexible inner flange (32) protruding by such a width that the flow-out valve chamber (42) is not closed since the inner flange warps toward the flow-out valve chamber (42) when a forward flow occurs and that the flow-in valve chamber (22) is closed since the inner flange warps toward the flow-in valve chamber 22 when a backflow occurs, and has a through hole (31) connecting the two valve chambers (22) and (42).
