Abstract:
The present invention inhibits a decrease in the gas sealing performance of a gas-sealing member due to the existence of a protrusion at a welded section, while still inhibiting a decrease in power generation efficiency. A fuel-cell power generation unit according to the present invention is provided with: a unit cell; first and second interconnectors; a separator; a metal frame member disposed between the separator and the first interconnector; and a gas-sealing member having a contact section that is in contact with a surface of the separator and a surface of the second interconnector and that seals an air chamber or a fuel chamber. The gas-sealing member, the separator, the frame member, and the first and second interconnectors all exist at a contact-overlap section, which is a section overlapping, in a first direction, the contact section in the fuel-cell power generation unit. At least one of a first welded section sealing between the separator and the frame member and a second welded section sealing between the frame member and the first interconnector is formed at a position which is farther from an outer peripheral portion of the unit cell than from the contact-overlap section.
