Abstract:

A chemical heat storage device that heats a heating subject that is present in a pipe. The chemical heat storage device is equipped with a reactor that reacts chemically with a reaction medium, thereby generating heat; an adsorber that adsorbs the reaction medium by means of an adsorbent, thereby storing the reaction medium; and a connecting pipe (11) that connects to the reactor and the adsorber, and transfers the reaction medium. The reactor has a solid reaction material (9a) provided along the outer circumferential surface of the location in the pipe where the heating subject is present, and a casing (9c) in which the reaction material (9a) is sealed such that a space (9d) is formed along the outer circumferential surface of the reaction material (9a). One end of the connecting pipe (11) opens into the space (9d).
