Abstract:
The chip-type fuse has an integrated terminal-type fuse (2), the integrated terminal-side fuse (2) having two flat plate parts (10, 10) serving as substrate mounting terminals in the same horizontal plane with a gap open therebetween, and, located between the two flat plate parts and in a horizontal plane at a different height from this horizontal plane, a fuse (4) formed integrally with the two flat plate parts. A case (14) has side walls (18, 20) and end walls (22, 24) around a main wall (16), the face on the side opposite from the main wall (16) being open. The fuse (4) is located at an intermediate position in a direction oriented from the opening to the main wall (16) side of the case (14), portions of the flat plate parts (10, 10) are in contact with the open-side extremities of the end walls (22, 24), and the flat plate parts (10, 10) protrude approximately horizontally in an outward direction beyond the end walls (22, 24).
