Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a Chlamydia trachomatis detecting method in which the probability of erroneous determination such as a false negative or a false positive is low and which exhibits superior sensitivity and specificity. The present invention pertains to: "a Chlamydia trachomatis detecting primer set which contains a first primer pair comprising a forward primer having a base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 5 and a reverse primer having a base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 6; a Chlamydia trachomatis detecting method using the primer set; and a reagent kit therefor".
