Abstract:
Provided are a chloroprene rubber with excellent low-temperature properties, a chloroprene rubber composition, a volcanizate thereof, and a formed body. This chloroprene rubber is obtained by emulsion polymerization of raw material monomers which include a total of at least 0.5 mass% of both ap-conformation trans-1-chlorobuta-1,3-dienes and cis-1-chlorobuta-1,3-dienes, and include at least 2.0 mass% of 2,3-dichlorobuta-1,3-dienes, with the remainder of said monomers being chloroprene. Also, the composition containing said chloroprene is vulcanized and formed into a formed body.
