Abstract:
Provided in embodiments of the present application is a circuit and method for generating bimodal waveforms that comply with the IEC 61000-4-2 standard. The circuit comprises: a TLP generator circuit and a TLP external connection circuit, wherein the TLP generator circuit is used to generate TLP excitation, and the TLP external connection circuit is used to store energy generated by the TLP excitation, and discharge electrostatic excitation in a bimodal waveform shape. The circuit and method provided in the embodiments of the present application prevent the risk of damaging a TLP platform due to retrofitting the structure of an internal circuit of a TLP electrostatic generator. At the same time, compared to internally retrofitting a TLP electrostatic generator, the manner of externally adding a circuit structure is simpler.
