Abstract:

Provided is a clamping device having a simple and low-cost vertical movement mechanism 5b for making the height of a sprue 4a of a rubber mold 3 equal to an injection nozzle 7 of an injection molding machine for producing a wax pattern. The clamping device has: a clamping mechanism unit 5a, which is provided with a mounting base 9 for mounting the mold 3, a clamp plate 10, and a clamp drive device 11 for changing the distance between the mounting base 9 and the clamp plate 10 in the vertical direction; and a vertical movement device 5b for moving the clamping mechanism unit 5a in the vertical direction. The mold 3 is clamped by the clamp drive device 11 changing the distance between the mounting base 9 and the clamp plate 19 from a first distance L to a second distance L'. In the clamping device, the vertical movement device 5b is configured so as to raise the clamping mechanism unit 5a by (L − L')/n (where 1.5 ≤ n ≤ 2.5).
