Abstract:
This class D amplifier comprises: a selection unit that selects one carrier signal as a comparison signal from among a plurality of carrier signals including a first carrier signal having an amplitude nonlinearly changing over time during one cycle, and a second carrier signal having a waveform different from that of the first carrier signal; a comparison unit that generates an output signal pulse-width modulated by comparing the comparison signal with an input signal; and an amplification unit that generates an amplified signal by amplifying the output signal.
