Abstract:
A class-D amplifier that includes a generation unit that generates a carrier signal that has an amplitude that varies nonlinearly relative to the passage of time during a single period, a comparison unit that compares the carrier signal and an input signal and thereby generates a pulse width modulated output signal, and an amplification unit that amplifies the output signal and thereby generates an amplified signal.
